LG loses in reverse due to failure of squeeze operation in 8th inning of Gocheok Kiwoom game on the 2nd
LG Twins manager Youm Kyoung-youb pointed out the basics of base running ahead of the game against Kiwoom Heroes at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on the 3rd.

In the top of the 8th inning, with LG leading 2-1, Shin Min-jae attempted a squeeze bunt on the first pitch with one out and a runner on third. It was a 'safety squeeze' strategy to check if the bunt hit was in fair territory and then run to prevent the runner on third from being thrown out.
